Jill and I took a amazing trip out to Utah for some much needed rest and relaxation! The Snowbird ski and summer resort about 40 mins from Salt lake city Utah is perfect for absolutly amazing spring skiing.
We stayed in the Iron blosam lodge which isn't ski in ski out but on the mountain and a short walk to and from the lifts. Alternatively they have extremely convenient shuttles up and down the resort and if you're really in a hurry the friendly bellhops will take you almost anywhere you want to go in their suvs.
All of Snowbirds lodges overlook the beautiful Mt. Baldy or Little Cottonwood Canyon and include heated pools and large hot tubs for apres skiing soaks. Some of the rooms even have full kitchens. All in all... I'm incredibly happy that we stayed here!
Snowbird is a great place for the intermediate to expert skier but we found if a bit tough for more of a beginner. Luckily though, there is a free shuttle from snowbird to Alta ski resort just up the road which has great beginner terrain and advanced terrain! AND for those of you who wouldn't want to take a shuttle you can upgrade your ticket for $35 bucks and head straight over the mountain!
I could talk about Snowbird for ages, leave a comment if you'd like more information or any recommendations!
