The world out there
More often than not when I sit and watch a sunrise or sunset I find myself in awe of the world around me. The moving swirling clouds of oranges, reds, and purples are as if they're from another world painted by a painter at the height of their creativity.
I created these images in New Orleans on a recent overnight work trip. Sometimes I debate whether taking my camera along will be worth it and every single time I'm proved wrong. When in doubt, bring the camera with just one lens if you have to, but bring the camera.
For the Photographers
This was a quick work trip and I didn't bring my tripod unfortunately. So these are all hand held from the top of a hotel (I won't mention which since I probably wasn't supposed to be up there :). These were shot with my Nikon d750 and a Nikon 24-70 2.8 (my work horse). All were around f8 and higher shutter speeds and iso due to being handheld. I would of loved to of been able to take some night shots as well, however being handheld just didn't quite make it possible.
